Happy Holidays!

Well it's Christmas Eve!  I'm not sure how much time I'm going to have over the next few days, so I thought I'd take a moment to say Thank You to each and every one of my amazing followers for showing me that people are actually interested in the things I do, and for keeping me motivated to keep going with my crafting (and randomness lol).  I WILL be better in the new year.  How about I make that my New Year's Resolution?  I've succeeded with every one of them for the last 3 years, so let's go for a fourth!

Anyway, I wanted to share a couple of pictures of Oscar with you to brighten your day!
This first one was taken at Shubie, and was for the Spay Day Nova Scotia fundraiser.  It turned out SO well!

And these next few were taken at Oscar's Doggie Daycare, they had their Christmas Party there yesterday.  The ladies that work there are absolutely wonderful and you can tell they love their job!

I know, I KNOW!  My little prince is probably the cutest thing on the planet :p

Happy Christmas from my family to yours!   I hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with love and laughter!
xoxo

J's Birthday Weekend in Toronto for the Caps/Leafs game

As some of you know, I did a crazy thing and bought Jeff (& I) tickets to go see the Washington Capitals play the Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre on Novemebr 23, as his birthday present.  I'm not normally that extravagant for birthdays, but selling my My Little Pony Collection has proved to be the best idea ever, and I thought I'd do something nice for him since he does so much for me :)

I'm not going to bore you with details of how terrifying the flight into Toronto was, but I will recommend NEVER FLYING INTO BILLY BISHOP ON A PROP PLANE.  Yikes.

We did get to see J's aunt and uncle on Saturday, did a little shopping at the Eaton Centre, went for a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe, and had just enough time to go back to the hotel (Westin Harbour Castle OMG BEAUTIFUL!!!), to change and head to the game.

Go go picture spam:

The Leafs won 2-1 in a shootout.  It was a fantastic game and it was win-win for me because I love both teams.  What a great experience, and I THINK J had a good time.

Projects from the last 3ish months!

Good morning!

I FINALLY got a chance to upload the video of all the projects of been working on over the last few months.  Things that I made at crops, things that I made for Craft Fairs, etc.  This video was done the night before what ended up being my second craft fair, and then I did another one this past weekend.

I've also changed the name of my little business to Creative Serendipity, and am in the process of fixing up my ArtFire studio, Facebook page, etc.  So in case you were wondering, no I haven't been a big lazy bum, I've actually been doing things lol

I will make another post soon (read: I'm going to type it up now and schedule it lol) so that you can hear all about our fabulous weekend in Toronto for the Caps/Leafs game on Nov. 23!  So in the meantime, check out the vid, let me know what you think, and let me know if you'd like tutorials on any of the things I've made.

Don't forget to subscribe to my channel, and follow my blog if you haven't already ;)

Back from the Fall Fling Crop in New Glasgow!

Hello dearies (sorry, getting in the Once Upon a Time frame of mind)!

I'm back from my weekend away in New Glasgow. The Cutting Garden put on the Fall Fling Crop from Nov. 1-3, and it was A BLAST! Now before you jump down my throat, I KNOW I still haven't posted what I made at the LAST crop, but that's because I've been really busy (Read: MASTER PROCASTINATOR), and just couldn't fit it in.

I'm about to go watch Once Upon a Time and The Walking Dead, but tomorrow, once I unpack, I will get to business and tell you about all about my weekend, and get some pictures taken of the goodies I made a BOTH crops ;)

Hope you all had a fab weekend!  Tell me all about it!

Halloween 2013!

So most of you know how much I L-O-V-E Halloween, and how it's now going to be tradition to dress Oscar up every year.  This year was no exception!

May I present to you Oscar as Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead!

For those of you not familiar with the show, this is Daryl:

And here's Oscar's version:

It was fun to make, and I am OBSESSED with the vest!  I think I'm going to tighten up the belly belt, and take off the ear necklace and use it as a coat for him lol

Here's a quick video of Daryl Dixon, Zombie Hunter:

So Oscar went to daycare for the day for the Halloween party, where the first shot of him was taken, then we came home, had a quick supper and went trick or treating with my sister and nephews.  Once again, my sis outdid herself with the costumes she made:  Ninja, Ironman, and an Ewok!

And THAT was my Halloween!  I've just now finished packing and am on my way to New Glasgow for the Fall Fling Crop, and will be updating all weekend, I hope!

Hope you all had a great Halloween!  Tell me all about it!
